HALL RYAN LABORATORIES, INC. AND THE GLOBAL BIONETWORKSPOTLIGHTED IN INNOVATIVE PRODUCTS SHOWCASE AT NATIONAL ATHLETIC TRAINERS 2009 CONFERENCE & EXPO
Van Nuys, CA…. Global BioNetwork’s Thermal Sensor Mouthguard™ system, which monitors an athlete’s body temperature wirelessly during the warm summer practice season, was spotlighted in the Innovative Products Showcase at the National Athletic Trainer’s Association Conference & Expo in San Antonio, Texas June 18 – 20. The Global BioNetwork also exhibited in Booth #20074.
Millions of athletes engage in rigorous training on hot summer days in preparation for both the football season and cross country events. Exposure to high heat conditions while training can cause the onset of heat stress ranging from serious illness to tragic deaths.
This proprietary safety technology is a reliable technical solution that can actually prevent heat stress in athletes. It allows for wireless body temperature monitoring from any web enabled device for about a dollar per day during the summer training season.
The Thermal Sensor Mouthguard™ system is a combination of widely accepted oral thermal sensor technology and a proprietary web-based software system for monitoring sensors without installing software or hardware at end user facilities. The stand alone system is comprised of mouth guard biosensors, transmitters that can be mounted in any football helmet, and an Intelligent Network Node (INN) which links the transmitters to the Global BioNetwork's servers. Since the system is web based, the school nurse can also log into the Global BioNetwork's servers and view real-time streaming data and optional web cam videos of their athlete’s wearing the biosensors.
For schools that have athletes practicing in high temperature environments, the Global BioNetwork provides a cost-effective safety solution that can save lives.
